Jochen Jehmlich was appointed CEO of SGEF on 1st July 2017 and retains his role as CEO of GEFA Bank*. Following an economics degree he started as a trainee at Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt and specialized in corporate client business.
In 1990 Jochen Jehmlich moved to GEFA-Group and assumed several leading positions in Sales. In 2000 he was appointed Managing Director and in 2003 CEO. He was previously Deputy CEO of Societe Generale Equipement Finance since 2014.

Odile de Saivre joined Societe Generale in 1997 in the Equity Capital Market team within Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking. She then spent most of her career in the Corporate and Investment Banking division notably in the Strategic and Acquisition Finance department as well as in Asset Based Finance. In 2010 she headed the Global Finance team in charge of credit risk monitoring before moving to Russia as Deputy Head of Rosbank’s Corporate Lending Department. Since 2015, Odile has been in charge of the Project Export Finance team within Global Finance’s Export Finance business line. Odile holds a degree in engineering from Ecole Centrale Paris.
Martin Dornseiffer joined GEFA* in summer 1991. Since then, he has been involved in various GEFA sales and managerial functions in Stuttgart, Hannover and Hamburg. In 2011 he became Sales Director for the branch network of GEFA and successfully managed 24 teams with 260 employees in Germany. After being appointed Executive Vice President in March 2014 he took full responsibility of the IT and Risk Management departments. In December 2014, he became Managing Director of GEFA. He was appointed Head of Central Europe for Societe Generale Equipment Finance in September 2017.
Before joining GEFA Mr Dornseiffer worked 4 years for Deutsche Bank AG, Mönchengladbach.

Karine Diligent joined Societe Generale in 2000. From 2008 to 2012 she was Head of the Accounting and Basle 2 department for entities in the international retail banking network.
From 2013 to 2015 Karine was Project Manager for regulatory projects (AQR – NBR and IFRS 9 phase 2) in the International Banking and Financial Services division.
Fatine Bennani started her career in 1991 at SGMA, the Moroccan banking subsidiary of Societe Generale Group, in the Inspection Department and then at the Secretariat of the Board. In 2003, she took a position in corporate business development in the French retail bank. In 2008, Fatine joined the Group’s Financial Department in charge of financial communications. Two and half years later she joined the International Retail Network Division supervising Madagascar, Reunion and Antilles. Fatine joined Societe Generale Equipment Finance in January 2016 as General Secretary.
Sydney Abbott, has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Manitoba in Canada and a Chartered Accountant certification.
She joined Societe Generale in 1987 and held various positions in the individual client and fund management division before being named Head of the international Private Clients branch in 1994.
She took on an HR business partner position within the banking services division in 2000 and then moved on as Deputy to the head of HR for DSFS in 2004.
Since 2008, Sydney is Head of Human resource for Societe Generale Equipment Finance.
After several commercial positions in the French network, Philippe Dairien has mainly worked in Asia (China and Thailand) within the Corporate and Investment banking and the Financial services divisions. He was previously Head of Risk in Algeria for 3 years.
David held several positions for 15 years within GE Capital Europe, in Insurance, Car leasing and Equipment Finance activities. In 2008, David joined Societe Generale Equipment Finance Holding as Head of Insurance, in charge of the Global Insurance Program. In, 2010, he was appointed as Head of Business Support & Services to strengthen relationships between SMA and other SGEF’s departments including Risks. Since 2012, David has been Chief Administrative Officer at Franfinance, where he was in charge of Risk Management, Recovery and IT departments, for the Equipment Finance business.
Danny Lam joined SGEF US as COO in 2010 and served as Deputy CEO untill his appointment as CEO in September 2015. Prior to joining SGEF Danny was President and CEO of Bell Atlantic Capital Corp. and President and General Manager of American Express Business Finance.
Pascale Devergies-Gilodi is a Certified Chartered Accountant.
Pascale started her career in 1990 as an auditor for Price Waterhouse Coopers.
She then joined Société Générale in 2001 to take part in the IAS/IFRS programme at Group level.
In 2005, she joined Société Générale’s accounting department as General Secretary of the division.
From 2009 to 2015, Pascale was Chief Financial Officer of Societe Generale Equipment Finance. She then became Deputy Head of the Network until 1st January 2017.
Since 2001 Carlo Mescieri is the CEO of SGEF Italy and SG Factoring. Before joining the Societe Generale group, he was in charge of the easing business of Deutsche Bank Italy.
He also took on the position of President of ASSILEA Servizi. ASSILIA Servizi is the Italian company fully controlled by ASSILEA (National Leasing Association), in charge of supplying all the associates with services.
Julien Ochonisky graduated from IEP Paris (Institut d’Etudes Politiques) with a postgraduate Diploma in Corporate Finance & Capital Markets.
Julien started his career within Societe Generale in 1993 in the Inspection Department and has since held several positions within the Group, with Societe Generale Consumer Finance in Central Europe, then with La Banque Postale Financement.
Before joining Franfinance, Julien was Head of the Group Staffing Department.
Since January 2015, Julien took over the position of Deputy Head of Franfinance in charge of Societe Generale Equipment Finance.
A Banking and Finance professional with more than 25 years of experience in the equipment finance market around the world, John is a graduate of Bristol University.
John started his career with National Westminster Bank. From there he moved to Bank Leumi (UK) Plc where he began to specialize in asset finance. After working with Svenska Finans (Swedish) and ING Lease (Netherlands) John joined Hambros Bank Plc.
When Hambros was acquired by Societe Generale in 1998 John continued to manage the UK business of Societe Generale Equipment Finance. He moved to France in 2002 to work in the head office of SGEF, followed by a two years assignment to manage the SGEF business in Sydney, Australia and a 3 year assignment for SGEF in China.
John moved back to France in August 2012 to take up a role in the RISK division of Societe Generale supporting the business line of Equipment Finance.
He was previously SGEF ‘s Head of Industry and Vendor Management since October 2014.
Philippe Rozental has an Engineering degree from ENSTA and a Master degree in Mathematics and Computer Sciences from Université Louis Pasteur Strasbourg.
Prior to joining Societe Generale, Philippe worked for three major consulting firms on various project assignments. Philippe started his career within the Group in 2005 as Project Management Officer with Societe Generale Securities Services, and then held various management positions within the division. In his last position, he was Head of the Asset Servicing business and Exco member in SGSS France.
As global CAO and CIO, Philippe Rozental supervises the Resources department at SGEF HQ. He is in charge of Resources including supervision of IT, Business processes, Organisation, Innovation and Real estate functions across the Business Line.
Cartsen Thorne has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Oslo Business School and a Master’s from the Norwegian School of Management.
Carsten started his career with various positions in sales and marketing in several financial institutions such as Nevi Finans and Lefac. In 1988, Carsten joined Elcon Finans as a salesman and was promoted Regional Manager of the company’s Region East in 1992.
In 2004/2005, Societe Generale Equipment Finance acquired the equipment finance activities of Elcon Finans AS which were renamed SG Finans AS. In 2005, Carsten was appointed Chief Executive Officer of SG Finans AS and is a member of SGEF Management Committee.

Before becoming the Managing Director of SGEF UK, Giles Turner held senior positions in general management, sales and asset management within SGEF UK. Between 1984 and 1995 he held various positions in sales, risk, vendor finance and management with Forward Trust and Concord Leasing, both members of HSBC Group.
Giles became Managing Director of Societe Generale Equipment Finance UK in 2002.
